On the Death of Prime Minister Abe: Moon and Sasakawa in the Pacific (2)

I was aware that Moon and the Unification Church had been infiltrating and influencing politics in a fairly wide range of Pacific Island countries since at least the 1990s. But I was afraid, so I did not approach them or try to know them. In other words, I did not see, hear, or speak to them.

Information on the Unification Church is quite public. The following is a list of Worldwide Chapters from the website of the Universal Peace Federation, which was founded on September 12, 2005. There are 159 countries in total. Of these, 11 are Pacific Island countries/regions. The following is a summary of when we have been active in these 11 countries/regions.

They have been active since 2002, probably as a result of the Japanese women believers sent in 90s. Most countries have a final date of 2018, but Fiji has a track record that runs through 2022. The activities seem to vary from country to country. The secretary-generals of the Marshall Islands and Tonga are Japanese. Are they members of the Unification Association?

Fiji: 700 peace ambassadors throughout the country from 2015 to 2022, in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Productivity.
